Sublimation sheets are meticulously single-fed from a friction feeder, and an efficient barcode scanner promptly reads the barcode printed on each sheet. In the event of a barcode issue—be it a duplicate order, a canceled order, or an unreadable code—the problematic sublimation sheet is decisively rejected and directed downward, preventing any incorrect applications. A fresh sublimation sheet is then fed and scanned, allowing the process to continue seamlessly. Approved sublimation sheets are channeled into the wrap station, where industry-proven tape dispensers deliver perfectly measured lengths of tape, applying it precisely to the sublimation sheet.

As the mugs progress, they reach the Print and Apply Labeler, where a matching printed barcode label is skillfully affixed to each mug. A linear stepper-driven actuator delicately plucks the coffee mugs from the indexing conveyor, guiding them into the wrapping station with care. There, the sublimation sheet is lifted, making contact with the mug at the six o’clock position. The wrapping arms gracefully ascend along the mug’s circumference, deftly pulling the sheet upward and firmly pressing the tape onto the mug around the handles. The sublimation sheet clings seamlessly to the mug, taut and aligned, as the wrapping arms retract with a smooth motion.

In the final stage, the mug is gently returned to the conveyor. A precise barcode reader scans the code on the sublimation sheet, cross-referencing it with the barcode label affixed to the bottom of the mug, ensuring a flawless match that guarantees quality and accuracy in the production process.
